Russia and Uzbekistan Extend their Partnership In Healthcare Industry
| On April, 21, a round-table meeting Development of Russian-Uzbek Cooperation in the Pharmaceutical and Medical Industry was held in the format of a video conference with a live broadcast on the platform of the 4th International Trade Show EXPO-RUSSIA UZBEKISTAN 2021 ONLINE, which will be open for online visitors from April 10 through May 31. The live video conference brought together government representatives from Russia and Uzbekistan, including First Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Russian Federation Mr. Sergey Tsyb, as well as representatives from pharmaceutical and medical manufacturer associations and businesses. MTL's President Mr. Anatoly Dabagov presented a project for establishing a Russian-Uzbek joint venture company for manufacturing high-technology X-ray diagnostic imaging systems in Uzbekistan. Due to high social impact of this promising project, it has been approved by a Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. It has also been included into the program of economic cooperation between the governments of the two countries and into the list of high-priority Russian-Uzbek cooperative projects. |
